Rainbow Kindergarten Adventures โ a 3-episode series featuring Mr. Zak, Shelagh, and the Batch of 2026 at Jean Lumb Public School, Toronto.

Our daughter came home from school buzzing about shapes at Canoe Landing. She talked about hexagons on the climbing frame, circles on the boardwalk, rectangles on the windows. She could not stop.
That night, instead of reading a random story, I thought โ what if she could hear her own adventure? What if bedtime was about reliving the best parts of her day, not someone else's story?
So we wrote it. Then we wrote two more. And suddenly we had a series.
"That night, remember the field trip. The turtles who share their sunny rocks. The bats who eat mosquitoes. The baby turtles who crawl to water all by themselves."
Mr. Zak and Shelagh take the Rainbow batch on a community walk. Every shape they find becomes a game โ hexagons, circles, triangles hidden in the real world.
Listen FreeThe Rainbow batch performs their first concert at Jean Lumb PS. Twenty kids in homemade Earth hats sing "What a Wonderful World." Every parent cries. Every kid beams.
Listen FreeThe first REAL field trip. Two kindergarten classes board the yellow school bus. They find turtles sharing sunny rocks, count dragonfly wings, and learn that the world is full of tiny creatures in tiny homes.
Listen FreeYour child's name is in every episode. When your kid hears "That night, Veda, remember the concert" โ they light up. It is their story.
Real teachers, real places. Mr. Zak. Shelagh. Canoe Landing Park. Jean Lumb Public School. Evergreen Brick Works. These are not fictional โ these are the people and places our kids love.
Audio only. No screens. The whole point is to wind down. Dim the lights, press play, and let the story do the work. Two to three minutes. They are asleep before it ends.
Photos from the actual adventures. We uploaded real photos from the field trips. Swipe through them while listening โ or just close your eyes.
This series is our gift to the Rainbow batch of 2026. Every kid in the class can hear these stories with their own name. Share them at bedtime. Let your kid relive the best year of their little lives.
And if your child has a favourite moment from this year that we missed โ tell us. We will write it.
Three episodes. Real adventures. Your child's name. Free.
Open My Sleepy TaleMy Sleepy Tale is not just for our stories. Any parent, teacher, or grandparent can create a series for their class, their family, or their community.
Write the stories. We handle the voice narration, the music, the app. Your stories earn credits every time someone listens.
